Location: Izmir, Turkiye
Production Planning Associate
The purpose of the position is to preparation and communication of short-mid term Production Plans of Make & Pack, Filter and Tobacco Processing Departments. You will incorporate Sales orders/forecasts into optimum Production Plans to meet customer requirements balancing inventory level targets, operational constraints, and loading levels. You will communicate availability of orders/forecast to customers.
This position will be based in Izmir and will report to Production Planning Manager.
Position:
You will be responsible for:
- Prepare, validate, and communicate long-, mid-, and short-term production plans (MPS) for cigarettes, filter rods, cut-filler, and related materials in coordination with management and relevant departments.
- Develop and validate production and inventory plans in SAP, ensuring target inventory levels are met through optimal scheduling while considering operational constraints and market demand.
- Monitor finished goods and semi-finished inventory levels, report regularly, and propose preventive or corrective actions as needed.
- Review demand changes weekly, validate system alerts, and coordinate material or urgent plan changes with the shop floor.
- Prepare and communicate Make & Pack and Tobacco Processing production plans, including staffing, overtime, and capacity balancing.
- Maintain planning-related master data (routings, production versions, resources, setup matrix, PPM).
- Support capacity planning and reporting activities, including SKU-level production plans, machine working hours, and inventory targets.
Requirements:
- University degree. (Preferably in engineering)
- Excellent English skills.
- MS Office tools (Excellent Excel skills)
- SAP skills
- Minumum 2 years of experience in a similar job.
