The position will be based in Izmir and will report to Material Planning Manager.

As a Material Planning Associate, you will:

  • Plan material needs by translating production plans into accurate material requirements using SAP and MRP (Material Requirements Planning), while reflecting material changes, replacements, and shelf-life risks.
  • Ensure timely material supply by creating and managing purchase requisitions, reviewing open orders, and coordinating with Purchasing to adjust delivery timing when needed.
  • Work closely with production and support teams (Production Planning, Quality, Warehouse, Import) to secure smooth material availability, especially during launches, relaunches, and material changes.
  • Maintain accurate planning data in SAP, ensuring material master and planning parameters are correct and up to date.
  • Monitor inventory health and performance, identifying risks such as slow moving or obsolete materials, and supporting reporting and analysis for planning and procurement decisions.
  • Support forecasting and improvement efforts by providing material forecasts to Purchasing and contributing to better planning and reporting practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in material planning, supply chain, or a similar role.
