Consumer and Trade Activation Manager

 

You will be responsible for leading and developing the Brand Activation programs while driving the strategic planning and execution of brand and channel initiatives and management of B2B CRM portal. You will ensure operational excellence, cross-functional collaboration, compliance with corporate standards, and effective investment management to optimize performance, strengthen brand equity, and achieve business growth.

 

This position is based in Izmir and reports to the Combustibles Director.

 

Position:

 

As the Consumer and Trade Activation Manager, you will be responsible for:

 

Leadership & Team Development

 

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Brand Activation team to maximize performance and potential.
  • Conduct regular field visits to support execution excellence and team engagement.

 

Strategy & Planning

 

  • Develop and implement strategic plans that align with overall brand and business objectives.
  • Lead development of comprehensive business cases and marketing & commercial plans, translating brand strategies into actionable trade & leisure channel programs.
  • Management of CRM portal: ensure effective & smooth managment of this B2B channel, maximize our relationships with trade partners and coordinate all mechanisms to turn them into our brand ambassadors.
  • Develop new ideas, follow the latest trends and tecjnologies to reflect that into brand activations.Always strive for innovation to create bigger impact, visibility and awareness to intrigue target audience.
  • Always aim for supporting the brand equity of activated brands - therefore ensure "executional excellence" and implement activations & develop designs in line with brand identity and objective.

 

Execution & Performance Management

 

  • Oversee field execution and activation programs, ensuring quality, consistency, and effectiveness. Support horeca teams in field & special events when needed.
  • Measure results, analyze performance, and continuously refine plans to drive improvement and growth.
  • Monitor B2B portal's effectiveness, take corrective actions when needed. Ensure smooth run of the system flawlessly.

 

Collaboration & Compliance

 

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to collect insights, align initiatives, and ensure coordinated execution. Work hand-in-hand with Horeca & Brand teams for 360 Marketing approach to fulfill our brand objectives and support our strategies.
  • Ensure all activations, field operations, and agency activities comply with corporate and legal standards. Always have the pre-alignment with Legal for all initiatives and BAU topics.

 

Investment & Optimization

 

  • Manage budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and sound investment decisions for outlets and events.
  • Evaluate ROI, provide recommendations, and enhance future activation performance.

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • University degree in Business Administration or equivalent departments
  • Minumum 10 years of relevant marketing expertise in FMCG
  • Proven experience team management
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills & proficient in Data Analysis and Business Development
  • Experience in Consumer and Commercial Marketing
  • Fluent in English with native Turkish proficiency
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Willingness to travel to other regions / cities and to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, in accordance with business needs
