Job Title: Electronic Technician M&P
Reporting: Electronic Technician Coordinator
Location: Tongi, Gazipur
Position Purpose:
The Electronic Technician M&P will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and reliability of Make & Pack machines and systems. This includes executing electrical and electronics maintenance, supporting autonomous maintenance, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The role demands strong technical expertise, effective problem-solving, and collaboration with operations teams, aligned with IWS (Integrated Work System) principles.
What Will You Do:
- Equipment Reliability & Maintenance: Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on electrical/electronic systems (e.g., motors, drives, PLCs, HMIs, sensors). Eliminate chronic issues through root cause analysis. Maintain and update equipment service records.
- Autonomous Maintenance Support: Train operators in basic electrical checks and cleaning. Support AM Steps 1–3: cleaning, inspection, lubrication, tightening. Ensure electrical components are clean and safe.
- Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Respond promptly to alarms and breakdowns using structured troubleshooting. Log issues/resolutions in the Daily Management System (DMS) and escalate when needed. Participate in Kaizen activities to improve equipment performance.
- Continuous Improvement & IWS Implementation: Contribute to Focused Improvement (FI) initiatives for energy savings, cost reduction, and performance enhancement. Participate in loss analysis and defect elimination. Support Early Equipment Management (EEM) for new installations and upgrades.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to safety standards, LOTO procedures, and company policies. Conduct risk assessments before maintenance activities. Promote a safety-first culture through audits and training.
- Special Projects & Additional Duties: Provide support during line cleaning and operator breaks to maintain production flow. Execute special projects as assigned (e.g., equipment upgrades, relocations, trials).
We Expect from You:
- Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- 2–3 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial automation systems. Familiarity with IWS pillars: AM, PM, FI, EEM. Ability to work in cross-functional teams and coach operators.
