CELL LEAD- FMD
The position involves managing the performance and operations of a designated cell or section within a manufacturing production line. This role is essential for maintaining safety, quality, reliability, production targets, productivity, and cost efficiency. It exemplifies IWS Principles (Zero Loss Mindset, Servant Leadership, 100% Equipment Ownership) and ensures the prompt implementation of IWS capability development plans.
As the Cell Lead- FMD you will be:
- Ensuring line results encompass safety, quality, reliability, production targets, productivity, and cost efficiency.
- Establishing, maintaining, and enhancing the effectiveness of Daily Management Systems (DMS).
- Developing 24-hour action plans by prioritizing team efforts and allocating resources to support these plans.
- Eliminating losses through root cause analysis and problem-solving.
- Building the capabilities of line teams to foster self-sufficiency.
- Ensuring compliance with JTI’s safety standards, quality requirements, and Code of Conduct to maintain a safe and compliant work environment aligned with the EHS Objective & Target: zero incidents and BOS.
- Recruiting, motivating, and guiding the professional development of team members reporting directly and indirectly to the incumbent.
- Managing various tasks and projects as they arise or as requested by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering from an accredited college or university is preferred.
- 1-2 years of professional experience in a managerial role within a production plant is advantageous.
- Proficiency in English for effective verbal and written communication.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders.
- Collaboration across various functions.
- Familiarity with SAP is beneficial.
- Knowledge of the tobacco industry and experience with IWS methodology are additional assets.
