P&C Generalist and Office Operations Associate (12 Months)
We are looking for a P&C Generalist to play a key role in supporting and implementing People & Culture initiatives across compensation & benefits and talent management at JTI Israel. You will contribute to monitoring salary structures, aligning staffing needs with budget considerations and supporting recruitment, employee development, and organizational initiatives. Through these activities, you will help ensure that company policies, processes, and programs effectively support the organization’s strategic objectives and the vision of People & Culture. You will also support People related topics and office operations.
Position:
As P&C Generalist Associate, you will:
Administrative Support:
- Provide administration in People related topics and operational office support.
Compensation & Benefits Support:
- Support the review and enhance compensation and benefits (C&B) processes to align with JTI standards.
- Manage the administration of employee benefits and bonus programs.
Annual Planning & Financial Estimation:
- Support the calculation of payroll-related expenses and Latest Estimates (LE).
- Support in budgetary accuracy for local employees, temporary staff, and international assignees.
Organizational Design & Change Management
- Participate in job evaluation processes and support change management for the new Employee Self-Service Platform.
Procedural Management & Compliance
- Support on related People & Culture policy guidance.
- Support in all related compliance with all relevant legal obligations and internal standards.
Talent Management Support
- Support the recruitment process, ensuring the attraction, selection, and onboarding of top talent aligned with business needs and company culture.
- Contribute to talent development and retention initiatives by supporting performance management processes and career development discussions.
Learning & Development
- Identify training needs and implement relevant development programs, including onboarding initiatives, to support employee growth and engagement
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives, ensuring they align with organizational goals and continuously improve employee capabilities.
Within 6 months, you will:
- Gain a strong understanding of the company’s People & Culture processes, policies, and organizational structure.
- Independently manage recruitment processes and support the successful onboarding of new hires.
- Contribute to the implementation of learning and development initiatives and support employee engagement activities.
- Support compensation, benefits, and payroll-related planning processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business needs.
- Support organizational and change management initiatives, including the implementation of the Employee Self-Service platform.
- Complete the evaluation of organizational roles and update position descriptions.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a relevant role, with focus on recruiting, compensation, benefits and organizational design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
- Fluency in English and Hebrew (written and spoken) - Must
- Proficiency in MS Office; SAP knowledge is a plus.
- Knowledge of Israel labor costing & regulation (authorities, tax, payroll calculation) - Advantage
- Very good understanding of job evaluation and pay structure - Advantage
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- High level of organization and time management, with a keen attention to detail.
