Commercial Planning & Data Analysis Manager 

 

 

 

We are currently looking for a motivated talent to join JTI Israel as a Commercial Planning and Data Analyst, based in Israel.

 

The Commercial Planning & Data Analysis Manager connects business strategy with field execution through data analysis, forecasting, market and field trend analysis and actionable business insights. The role is responsible for monitoring commercial performance, identifying risks and opportunities, conducting surveys and field analysis, including supporting data-driven decision-making across the commercial organization.

This position works closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance  and Supply Chain teams, while also leading the commercial systems and reporting domain, including CRM platforms, BI tools and digital interfaces. The role is a one-man-show, highly hands-on and with a strategic focus on business growth, process improvement, automation and commercial capabilities development.

 

Position

 

In this position, you will:  

 

  • Lead forecasting, planning, and commercial performance monitoring processes.
  • Analyze sales performance, KPIs, market trends,  customer behavior, and field insights to support strategic business decisions.
  • Conduct commercial, customer, user and field surveys to identify trends, opportunities, and improvement areas.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reporting tools and measurement frameworks to support business visibility and performance tracking.
  • Translate complex data into actionable strategic and field-level insights that improve execution quality and commercial effectiveness.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing and Finance teams on business planning, commercial initiatives, Future annual planning and performance evaluations.
  • Lead and support commercial systems and digital tools, including CRM systems, BI platforms, reporting automation and external vendors.
  • Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and enhancements to analytical and reporting capabilities.
  • Prepare business reviews, management presentations, and recommendations for leadership.
  • Proactively challenge existing ways of working and initiate solutions that support operational efficiency and business growth.

 

Requirements

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in Commercial Analysis, Sales Planning, Business Analysis, or similar roles.
  • Previous experience in global companies and FMCG industry - Advantage.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Excel skills - Must
  • High Hebrew and English skill proficiency – Speech, writing and reading - Must
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI, Salesforce, CRM systems, and reporting tools.
  • Strong systems orientation, analytical capabilities and understanding of automation processes — major advantage.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to connect data to business impact.
  • Ability to generate clear strategic and operational insights from complex data and field trends.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • High ownership, proactivity and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
