Brand Marketing Manager

 

 

Position

 

Play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing JTI Israel's brand identity while driving market modeling strategic insight. Responsible for developing and executing comprehensive brand strategies & initiatives while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and business objectives of SOM & Vol.

Act as a key driver in forecasting industry size (legitimate and non-legitimate), evaluating trends among target smokers (incidence and consumption), and understanding market dynamics. Provide valuable insights to contribute actively to the JTI planning process, encompassing OL, LE, and A&SP, while ensuring strategic relevance and accuracy.

Oversee new product development, focusing on existing and potential new products while adapting and building an optimal portfolio architecture and pricing strategy that efficiently meets consumer demand.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Brand Management: Lead the development and execution of brand strategies and marketing plans for JTI brands, ensuring alignment with business goals related to market share and volume. Drive innovation and explore new ways to reach consumers through strong understanding of insights and trends. Monitor brand performance and identify growth opportunities through analysis and business cases, recommending clear actions. Oversee brand programs, ensuring delivery against KPIs, timelines, and budgets. Develop impactful digital activations and pricing strategies that balance competitiveness, profitability, and consumer value. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure high-quality and timely execution of all brand initiatives.
  • Work Closely with Sales & Trade: Collaborate with Sales & Trade teams to design and implement effective trade marketing programs. Build strong cross-functional partnerships to define initiatives, develop trade mechanisms, and ensure brand consistency across all materials and POSM. Monitor market performance, analyze results, and adjust activities as needed to maximize impact.
  • Portfolio Management: Lead the optimization of the portfolio architecture to ensure a diverse and appealing product range that meets consumer needs and supports brand strategy. Oversee new product development from concept to launch, evaluate new opportunities and segments, and align initiatives with key internal stakeholders. Work closely with our HQ Brand Group in Geneva to integrate local insights and ensure brand and marketing excellence standards are met.
  • Contribute to ASP Delivery: Provide clear analysis and insights on consumer trends, brand performance, and future plans. Monitor brand KPIs (awareness, equity, and commercial results) to identify opportunities and challenges. Prepare portfolio assessments ahead of ASP discussions, collaborating with the Management Team, Strategy & Insights, Finance, and GSC to ensure sound portfolio and financial recommendations.
  • Market Modeling: Analyze and report on market dynamics, including legitimate and non-legitimate segments, to identify growth trends and opportunities. Generate actionable insights from consumer and market data, and present findings with clear conclusions and recommendations. Support annual planning cycles (ASP, LE, OL) with market forecasts, financial inputs, and alignment across key stakeholders.

 

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics, or Communications.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in marketing roles, preferably within a multinational environment and the FMCG industry.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken Hebrew & English. 
  • Strategic & Business Development Skills: Strong proficiency in strategic planning and brand portfolio management; advanced analytical and strategic thinking; skilled in data analysis and extracting insights; solid understanding of resource allocation and financial planning; experience working in global, cross-functional environments with strong stakeholder collaboration; ability to create impactful reports and presentations; innovative, detail-oriented problem solver with excellent time management skills.
