Procurement Specialist, Caucasus, Kazakhstan and CAM

What this position is about – Purpose:

As a Procurement Specialist, you will support strategic and lead tactical procurement initiatives within the Caucasus, Kazakhstan, and CAM cluster. Your role will focus on implementing procurement action plans aligned with global, regional, and cluster strategies, optimizing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with JTI policies and procedures. You will act as a trusted business partner, driving cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.

What will you do – Responsibilities:

• Execute local tactical procurement activities and ensure effective supplier relationship management.
• Implement procurement action plans and support cost optimization initiatives.
• Negotiate best-value contracts and manage the supplier base within the cluster.
• Achieve procurement KPIs and savings targets while ensuring compliance.
• Foster collaborative partnerships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Collect and share market intelligence, identify trends, and support risk assessments.
• Ensure full compliance with digital sourcing tools and reporting standards.

Who are we looking for – Requirements:

• Education: University degree.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in Procurement within a multinational environment.
• Languages: Fluent Georgian and English; Russian is an asset.
• Skills:
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Financial analysis and project management capabilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
• Knowledge of business information systems and procurement processes.
