RRP External Affairs Supervisor
This role supports regulatory assessment and market access for Reduced-Risk Products (RRP) by helping implement approved Corporate Affairs strategies and preparing required scientific and regulatory documents. It also involves working with internal teams to communicate JTI’s positions to stakeholders, support regulatory engagement, and manage risks in compliance with company policies.
As RRP External Affairs Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following:
- Monitor political, legislative, and regulatory developments related to RRP to identify risks and opportunities. Share key updates internally and understand how policies and laws are developed.
- Maintain an updated list of key stakeholders and track their activities and positions. Support engagement efforts to communicate company views clearly and consistently.
- Assist in carrying out approved strategies by preparing materials and coordinating activities. Ensure communication aligns with company goals and compliance rules.
- Help prepare and organize documents needed for regulatory submissions and approvals. Support internal assessments and reporting related to RRP.
- Work with internal and external teams to support External Affairs initiatives. Ensure all activities follow company policies and compliance standards.
- Support hiring, coaching, and development of team members when required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Sciences, Politics, or a related field; postgraduate degree is an advantage.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in regulatory affairs, health science, or public policy.
- Strong understanding of political, legislative, and regulatory processes, with the ability to monitor developments and identify risks and opportunities.
- Conversational-level English and native-level Chinese (spoken and written), with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe) and familiarity with document management systems.
- Ability to support regulatory submissions, prepare documentation, coordinate cross-functional activities, and ensure compliance with company policies.
