IWS Trainer
During the Run-to-Target (RTT) Accelerator program, the incumbent is responsible for providing capability development and coaching to the internal site teams, including the respected Cell structure member (Cell Lead, Process Lead, Maintenance Lead), Cell structure member coaches, line teams, and site daily management system (DMS) owners, to drive improved results and the desired culture change on the line/s. After the lead line/s deployment has been completed, the incumbent will lead and provide constant support to the expansion of the Run-to-Target (RTT) Accelerator program to other Lines/cells together with the IWS Manager and site leadership, utilising key principles of the servant leadership concept and empowering respective process leads to maximise their capabilities for contribution to the IWS system.
As the IWS Trainer, you will:
- Run-to-Target Accelerator: Learn-Do-Phase (applies also beyond RTT deployment)
- Build knowledge and expertise to coach Cell structure teams, Cell coaches, DMS owners, and factory management as per defined performance criteria.
- Coach and support the line team and cell structure team in data-driven problem solving and root-cause analysis.
- Lead loss prioritisation and capability building to improve OEE and equipment reliability
- Coach teams in SWPs (IPS/UPS/IDA/90DAP) as the subject-matter expert; ensure correct application and sustainment
- Run-to-Target Expansion: Teach-Phase
- Apply gained knowledge and expertise as a subject matter expert to coach and qualify
- Cell structure teams, Cell structure coaches, DMS owners, and factory management, as per defined performance criteria.
- Ensure governance of the respected DMS PDCA's and tools as SME of respected DMS's/SWP's.
- Guide loss prioritisation and capability building to improve OEE and equipment reliability
- Update or create training material, needed to ensure capability building, across the site, following global requirements
- Pillar Activation
- Responsible for effectively gathering knowledge and deploying all scoped and assigned IWS Pillar activities during the Pillar Activation Process and beyond as per defined criteria.
- Safety and Quality:
- Ensure safety on the line, including support of the incident elimination (IE) DMS, including performing safety BOS.
- Ensure and improve quality on the line, including performing quality BOS
- Compliance and standards:
- Ensure compliance with the JTI Management Systems and respective duties in the department, as well as the development of effective standards with regard to the continuous improvement process of 5S3R and Kaizen activities.
- Energise, support, and lead people and teams for suggestions and CI-programs.
- Other
- Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon the manager’s request.
Requirements:
- University degree or Technician degree or comparable education with extensive, long-term experience in FMCG production.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar role focused on continuous improvement in an FMCG company.
- Experience in:
- leading small work groups and shopfloor management with 24h accountability
- effective communication and strategy plan development
- Knowledge and experiences of production technologies, standards of factory improvement programs, ISO/EHS laws, rules and specific instructions.
- Excellent Mandarin and very good English knowledge in word and writing for effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- PC skills: well-experienced in working with analytical tools and large data sets.
MS-Office applications, SAP-S4 system knowledge and Power BI application
Proficiency working with PLC controls S7/TIA-Portal, as well as PLC controls Beckhoff or Allen Bradley, is a plus.
Management skills: ISO/EHS 9001/14001/18001, Safety and security rules knowledge, experienced in Lean methodology.
