NCC Solutions Architect Manager

The role is responsible for leading the development and evolution of JT Group’s global network and communications infrastructure, covering WAN, LAN, Internet, security, cloud services, unified communications, and video conferencing. It ensures that global network services remain flexible, cost-effective, and aligned with corporate strategies and standards. The position collaborates with service providers to design and implement new network solutions, maintain a standardized service portfolio, and stay updated on emerging technologies to enhance the organization’s global technical architecture.

As the NCC Solutions Architect Manager, under the area of D&IT you will:

• • Own and manage key NCC global services, ensuring optimal balance of cost, performance, and reliability across JT Group’s global network infrastructure.

  • Serve as Primary Service Owner for:

    • DC infrastructure in Japan (LAN/TM)

    • SD-WAN/CDN support globally (WAN)

    • WAN underlay – MPLS global support (WAN)

    • Unified JTG QoS alignment (WAN)

    • Managed MAN (WAN)

    • Internet Access service support globally (IA)

    • Unified Remote Access Service/ZTNA focused on Japan/APAC and sanctioned countries (RAS)

  • Act as Secondary Service Owner for:

    • Managed Wireless & LAN including OT Secure LAN (Global)

    • Main DC + DMZ network infrastructure (LAN/TM)

    • JT–JTI Interconnect (WAN/TM)

    • Private Cloud Interconnect support (Global)

    • DC Segmentation/Isolation (TM)

    • Managed Edge-DMZ (TM)

    • Unified Remote Access Service/ZTNA (Global)

    • UC/UCC services (Global)

  • Oversee Wireless & LAN, Datacenter LAN/DMZ, Cloud Interconnectivity, Network & Application Reporting, and Private 4G/5G within the NCC portfolio.

  • Develop and maintain the NCC Technical Roadmap, integrating emerging technologies into the global architecture strategy.

  • Contribute to Global IT Strategic Planning by assessing and adopting new networking and communication trends.

  • Manage change and service requests, providing timely technical and cost assessments with clear recommendations.

  • Provide advanced operational support during major incidents or crises, assisting NCC Operations in rapid issue resolution.

REQUIREMENTS

• Holds a university degree in Information Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

• Over 5 years of IT experience, specializing in Technical Architecture, Telecommunications, IP Telephony, Call Centers, and Security Services.

• Skilled in designing and maintaining enterprise-wide Telecom solutions for Voice, Video, and Data Networks.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services, particularly Microsoft Teams administration, policies, and licensing.

• Proficient in IT Service Management (ITIL, ITSM, SLAs) with good understanding of IT Finance and vendor management.

• Excellent communication and project management skills; experienced in multicultural environments.

• Preferred certifications: Microsoft 365, Genesys, Audiocodes/Ribbon, CCNA or higher, Fortinet NSE4+, with hands-on experience in Cisco (IOS), FortiGate, F5 Big IP, and HPE Aruba
