Purchasing Operations Specialist
This role focuses on managing end-to-end purchasing operations, including handling purchase orders, supporting reporting and compliance (P2P JSOX), and assisting with audits. It also involves stakeholder support through training and responding to inquiries to ensure smooth procurement processes.
As the Purchasing Operations Specialist - Mandartin in the area of Purchase to Pay, you will:
- Execute end-to-end purchasing operations, including PR to PO conversion, PO lifecycle management, and timely resolution of purchasing inquiries.
- Prepare and consolidate purchasing reports (e.g., GRIR, lease) and gather stakeholder feedback to support decision-making and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with P2P JSOX and operational controls, including proper documentation, issue escalation, and audit support (internal and external).
- Drive process standardization and continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for simplification, automation, and scalability.
- Provide stakeholder support through training, process guidance, and active participation in meetings, projects, and cross-functional initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field, with knowledge of Supply Chain, Procurement, or 3-way matching processes.
- Experience in Purchasing, Finance/budgeting, or GRIR-related roles, with proven ability to manage high-volume transactions accurately under tight deadlines.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) processes, policies, and controls, with experience working against KPIs and SLAs; Shared Services experience is an advantage.
- Proficient in English and Mandarin (written and spoken), with strong communication and presentation skills; knowledge of additional languages within GBS scope is a plus.
- High attention to detail with process-oriented thinking, adaptability to financial systems (e.g., SAP HANA), and proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong compliance mindset with familiarity in JSOX controls, and exposure to tools/standards such as ATAI and IFRS-16 is an advantage.
