P&C Business Partner Manager

 

The P&C Business Partner Manager partners with business leaders to drive People & Culture strategies that enable organizational effectiveness, talent optimization, and sustainable business performance. This role provides end-to-end P&C support across business partnering, organizational design, talent management, labor relations, and rewards, ensuring alignment with JTI strategy and Integrated Work System (IWS) principles.

This position serves as a trusted advisor to leaders by translating business priorities into people strategies that strengthen organizational capability, enhance employee experience, and foster a high-performance culture. Working closely with Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and key stakeholders, the role ensures the effective delivery of P&C initiatives while supporting workforce planning, leadership development, employee relations, and organizational transformation.

 

As a P&C Business Partner Manager, you will: 

 

  • Partner with business leaders to develop and implement People & Culture strategies aligned with business priorities and organizational goals.
  • Provide strategic guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and headcount management to ensure the business is equipped with the right talent and capabilities.
  • Lead end-to-end staffing initiatives, including recruitment, talent assessment, internal mobility, and succession planning to build sustainable talent pipelines.
  • Drive the Talent-to-Value agenda by maximizing talent through effective performance management, development, engagement, and retention strategies.
  • Coach and advise leaders on performance management, employee relations, organizational changes, and people-related decisions.
  • Lead succession planning and talent review processes in collaboration with regional and global P&C teams to strengthen leadership capability and business continuity.
  • Ensure compliance with labor legislation, company policies, and governance standards while managing employee relations and disciplinary matters fairly and consistently.
  • Promote a culture of integrity, inclusion, employee engagement, and continuous improvement across factory operations.
  • Oversee compensation planning, annual salary reviews, rewards and recognition programs, and P&C-related budget management.
  • Collaborate with local, regional, and global stakeholders to deliver integrated People & Culture initiatives that drive organizational effectiveness and business performance.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources or People & Culture across multiple functional areas, with at least 3 years in a people leadership role.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing or factory operations is preferred; Integrated Work System (IWS) experience is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of core HR disciplines, including organizational design, talent acquisition, talent management, rewards, employee experience, learning, labor relations, and workforce planning.
  • Solid understanding of labor legislation and HR policies, with experience managing employee relations and compliance matters.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align people strategies with operational and commercial objectives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, negotiation, and communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team management capabilities with the ability to build trusted partnerships.
  • Highly analytical with excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
