National Cycle Planning Manager

 

The incumbent is accountable for translating market objectives into executional plan per area, creation and governance of calendar of activities in collaboration with wider M&S, own the end-to-end cycle planning process in consideration of Sales Force capacity. This role ensures that the activities in the cycle plan are communicated, implemented and evaluated post-implementation accordingly.

 

 

As the National Cycle Planning Manager, you will:

 

1) High Level Zone Planning

  • Translate market A&SP objectives into strategic executional plan per region and zone
  • Lead the creation of calendar of activities per zone, area and channel partnering with function leaders in Sales and Marketin

 

2) Cycle Planning Leadership

  • Establish JTIP's cycle planning process and governance, ensuring strategic direction is reflected in each cycle’s operational activities and proper communication flow across organization is in place
  • Lead the end-to-end cycle planning process to ensure strategic direction is reflected in each cycle’s operational activities
  • Ensure activities in the cycle are prioritized and aligned with wider M&S to ensure optimal use of Field Sales resource
  • Project manage all requirements to ensure a successful execution of a cycle plan (e.g. merchandising materials delivery, presentation, selling tools

 

3) Capacity Management

  • High level capacity validation based on working days of a particular cycle adjusting call durations, visit frequencies, and coverage strategies, if needed, to ensure feasibility and optimal allocation of resources
  • Final sign-off and approval of all work that need to appear on the TME selling system e.g. survey

 

4) Cycle Implementation and Review

  • Lead the review of Cycle KPIs upon completion with clear reporting to EXCOM on achievement of objectives of previous cycles, and plans for future cycles, incorporating learnings from past activities
  • Ensure that bottom-up salesforce input is systematically gathered and reflected in the review process

 

5) People Management 

  • Role-model Our Way behaviors and foster a high-performance culture by creating positive work environment where team members are confident to speak up, challenge ideas for the better and champion safety of team members at all times.
  • Mentor, coach and provide constructive regular feedback to direct reports, determine capability gaps and development needs, and ensure strong succession pipeline.
  • Collaborates with People & Culture department in attracting and developing talents and keeping the team engage through appropriate rewards and recognition and employee engagement initiatives.

 

 

Who are we looking for:

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance or any related field

Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience in sales planning, cycle planning or any other Sales/Field Force management roles, preferably with multinational FMCG.
