IT Business Solutions Manager
This role champions the performance and evolution of key applications within the Virtual team’s portfolio, driving efficiency, innovation, and alignment across global stakeholders. It empowers cross-functional collaboration, leads strategic rollouts, and ensures external partners deliver with excellence. With a focus on continuous improvement and capability building, the role actively shapes technology solutions that meet business needs always grounded in governance, delivery rigor, and a forward-looking mindset
As the IT Business Solutions Manager, you will:
Capability Management
- Partner with business teams to identify and enhance existing solutions
- Discover and leverage existing tools across JTI that meet capability needs
- Support development of global, regional, and local capabilities
- Collaborate with other regions to maximize technology reuse and accelerate adoption.
System Rollouts
- Learn and support multi-market system rollouts under guidance from regional leadership
- Engage with other regions to share learnings and accelerate delivery
- Help ensure smooth deployments by supporting cross-regional collaboration.
Freedom Within a Framework
- Use low-code tools to deliver quick, targeted solutions
- Stay updated on tool capabilities and integrate with JTI systems via APIs for better data flow and user experience.
Service Delivery & Business Continuity
- Provide support and training to ensure effective use of business systems
- Maintain stability, reliability, and compliance of shared D&IT applications
- Manage incidents, problems, and application-related issues
- Align with internal and external service providers to ensure strategic delivery.
Innovation
- Collaborate with market teams to explore new trends and ideas
- Identify opportunities to improve business models and operational efficiency.
Distributed Teamwork & Operations
- Contribute to a geographically distributed team managing functional applications (e.g., Sales, Finance, Data)
- Oversee operations, enhancements, and project execution within assigned portfolio
- Lead or support regional projects, including planning, data migration, and go-live
- Act as a technology expert, continuously upskilling and delivering solutions through self-development or external support
- Maintain close communication during critical incidents to ensure proper prioritization
D&IT Governance
- Manage budgets and financial planning for regional applications and services
- Optimize costs and drive efficiency through alignment with corporate standards
- Ensure compliance with D&IT policies, procedures, and technology guideline
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field
- 3+ years of IT experience, including 1+ year managing business solutions or application teams
- Experience in multinational companies and FMCG industry preferred
- Familiarity with tools like PowerPlatform, Data Lake, Field Sales, or Online Sales systems
- Strong skills in business analysis, process documentation, and solution design
- Solid understanding of project management and budgeting
- Experience working with suppliers and external partners
- Effective communicator across all levels; team-oriented and collaborative
- Proactive, organized, and able to manage ambiguity and fast-paced environments
- Creative thinker with a customer-focused mindset and drive to innovate
