IT Business Solutions Manager
This role is responsible for managing and supporting a portfolio of business applications within a geographically distributed virtual team. The role focuses on driving standardization, efficiency, and continuous improvement across business solutions, while ensuring reliable service delivery, governance compliance, and alignment with business needs. The position works closely with business stakeholders, D&IT partners, and external vendors to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative solutions within agreed budgets.
As the IT Business Solutions Manager, you will:
Capability Management

Partner with business teams to identify and enhance existing solutions

Leverage existing JTI tools and platforms to meet capability needs

Support development of global, regional, and local business capabilities

Collaborate with other regions to maximize technology reuse and accelerate adoption
System Rollouts
-
Support multi market rollout of centralized systems under regional guidance
-
Collaborate with other regions to share best practices and accelerate deployments
-
Assist regional teams to ensure smooth and successful go live execution
Freedom Within a Framework

Use low code tools to deliver simple and short term business solutions
-
Stay updated on tool capabilities and integrate with JTI systems via APIs to improve data flow and user experience
Service Delivery & Business Continuity

Ensure effective support and training for business users on systems and applications
-
Maintain stability, reliability, and compliance of managed D&IT applications
-
Manage incidents, problems, and application related issues within the portfolio
-
Align closely with internal and external D&IT service providers
Innovation
-
• Work with market teams to explore new trends and ideas

Identify opportunities to improve business models and operational efficiency through technology
Distributed Teamwork & Operations

Contribute to a geographically distributed team managing functional applications such as Sales, Finance, or Data
-
Oversee operations, enhancements, and project execution within the assigned portfolio
-
Lead or support regional projects including planning, data migration, and go live
-
Act as a technology expert and continuously upskill to meet evolving business needs
-
Maintain close communication during critical incidents to ensure proper prioritization
D&IT Governance
-
Manage budgets and financial planning for regional applications and services
-
Optimize costs through alignment with corporate standards and reuse of existing solutions
-
Ensure compliance with D&IT policies, procedures, and technology guidelines
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field
-
3-5 years of IT experience, including at least 1 year managing business solutions or application teams
-
Experience in multinational companies and FMCG industry preferred
-
Familiarity with tools like PowerPlatform, Data Lake, Field Sales, or Online Sales systems
-
Strong skills in business analysis, process documentation, and solution design
-
Solid understanding of project management and budgeting
-
Experience working with suppliers and external partners
-
Effective communicator across all levels; team-oriented and collaborative
-
Proactive, organized, and able to manage ambiguity and fast-paced environments
-
Creative thinker with a customer-focused mindset and drive to innovate
