Employee Life Cycle Specialist (Temporary)

 

The Employee Life Cycle Specialist ensures efficient and highquality delivery of People & Culture (P&C) services across all employee lifecycle processes within GBS. The role provides endtoend support to employees, markets, and stakeholders by maintaining accurate HR data, preparing documentation, and managing service requests in line with agreed Service Level Targets, Standard Operating Procedures, and JTI policies. The position plays a key role in ensuring data integrity, process compliance, and continuous improvement across HR systems and services.

 

As an Employee Life Cycle Specialist in the area of People & Culture, you will:

 

  • Deliver endtoend employee lifecycle support by managing service requests, resolving inquiries, and processing transactions through MyJTI (ServiceNow) in line with SLA and SOP requirements.
  • Maintain and update employee data, organizational structures, and records in SAP HR and other systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with corporate and local guidelines.
  • Prepare and manage HR documentation, including contracts, certifications, and employee communications, ensuring completeness and adherence to established templates and procedures.
  • Support payroll readiness and employee benefits processes by validating data, coordinating updates, and assisting with enrollments (e.g., benefits, T&E, ESPP).
  • Provide reporting and communication support, including generating standard reports and issuing updates related to P&C processes and employee requirements.
  • Update SOPs, service catalogues, and knowledge materials, while supporting MyJTI adoption, user guidance, and continuous improvement initiatives across P&C services.

 

Who are we looking for?

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related 4year course.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a multinational environment in HR operations, employee services, or a similar role.
  • Handson experience with SAP HR or HR systems; SAP CRM knowledge is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of HR administration, organizational management, and employee lifecycle processes; payroll knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong customer service orientation, attention to detail, and ability to work in a crosscultural and collaborative environment.
  • Very good written and spoken English communication skills, with adaptability, flexibility, and a continuous improvement mindset.
