Central Warehouse Supervisor

 

 

The Central Warehouse Supervisor leads the day-to-day Central Warehouse operations supporting National Key Accounts, ensuring efficient order processing, inventory management, documentation, and delivery coordination. The role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, product quality, operational compliance, and reliable warehouse performance through strong control measures, company standards, and Good Warehousing Practices.
 
This position plays a key role in driving warehouse efficiency, customer service, and business performance by leading warehouse personnel, managing third-party service providers, strengthening inventory controls, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across Central Warehouse operations.

 

 

As a Central Warehouse Supervisor, you will:

 

  • Lead and oversee daily Central Warehouse operations, including sales order review, delivery processing, delivery schedule coordination, and loading activities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment while maintaining compliance with company standards, operational controls, and Good Warehousing Practices.
  • Manage order and return processes, including stock return validation, documentation processing, and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through physical stock counts, inventory audits, system reconciliation, product ageing review, and accurate inventory reporting.
  • Monitor product quality and inventory freshness through FEFO compliance, product ageing tracking, and slow-moving SKU monitoring.
  • Oversee warehouse quality programs, including Beetle Count Index monitoring, temperature and humidity controls, warehouse cleanliness, and pest control activities.
  • Manage warehouse assets by monitoring asset condition, maintenance compliance, damaged asset reporting, and proper disposal processes.
  • Oversee third-party warehouse service providers, ensuring SLA/KPI compliance, vendor performance, inventory control, cost optimization, contract administration, and invoice validation.Lead, coach, motivate, and develop warehouse personnel through goal setting, feedback, performance discussions, regular meetings, and development planning.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support efficient operations, service level achievement, issue resolution, and continuous process improvement.

 

 

Requirements: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Finance, or any related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, supply chain, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience in an FMCG environment will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, stock control, and order fulfillment processes.
  • Knowledge or experience in SAP warehouse transactions, particularly Stock Transport Order and MIGO processing, is an advantage.
  • Strong people leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in computer applications.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
