Activation Manager 

Position purpose:


The position is to ensure that the JTI Sweden strategic objectives are converted into actionable Brand and Trade Snus and Nicotine Pouch activities in all channels in the Scandinavia Cluster.  He/She is also responsible for developing the marketing programs, adhering to strategic brand guidelines, and ensuring that brand objectives are achieved.  Additionally, the Activation Manager will drive and ensure brand visibility and awareness whilst stimulating innovation and creativity for new merchandising solutions at the point of purchase. She / He will work closely with various departments internally, such as Brand Managers, TME, Sales Planning Manager, Field Sales, and external agency partners. All this to strengthen JTIs position within the Scandinavian cluster. 

 

What will you do - Responsibilities:

 

  • Initiate Snus and Nicotine pouch category brand and trade activation to ensure plans agreed/aligned in time to produce POS/Marketing/Sales campaigns. 
  • Cooperate with other functions to ensure maximizing brand communication/appeal and build a coordinated brand strategy. 
  • Use strategic insights, work with available market data to understand brand performance. Adapt activities using relevant information to maximize impact & effectiveness.  
  • Manage point of sale materials production in line with our activation plans, secure warehouse inventory optimizing and POSM deliveries to field sales on time.    
  • Develop trade activations (in collaboration with the right stakeholders) that secure long term trade relationships in line with JTI strategic objectives and brand plans.
  • Develop & communicate merchandising strategies that is in line with local strategies and global approaches.
  • Develop and implement direct to consumer programmes and activities, achieve execution excellence with internal alignment. 
  • Ensure that the role & responsibilities are carried out in line with JTI standards. Generate performance driven culture with team members, sharing knowledge, experience, and learnings. 
  • Ensure budgets are managed appropriately, monitor closely to ensure correct allocation and phasing.

 

Who are we looking for:

 

  • A degree, preferably within marketing, business and/or sales                                            
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in consumer and trade marketing FMCG.                                              
  • Fluent English and Swedish.                                            
  • Good knowledge of Power Point (to create professional presentations) and Microsoft Office essential. 
  • Experience of Business intelligence software is an advantage.
