Position overall requirements are to effectively direct and coordinate activities in the Quality department at the Factory. Key area of responsibility is to manage quality team, quality improvement, assurance and control processes with objective to ensure that the products are produced within company defined quality standards and state regulations.

What will your responsibilities look like?

  • Effective management of quality processes
  • Actively manage team by efficient resources planning, people management, developing programs and strategies for overall quality performance improvement. Ensure proper organization, processes set up and delivery in all three quality pillars: quality assurance, quality improvement and quality control.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant company and regulatory requirements concerning quality of produced products
  • Ensure to monitor production process complies with product specifications and manufacturing standard
  • Planning and allocation of all necessary quality measuring equipment (QME)
  • Ensure correctness and availability of the product quality data and performance reports and improvements plans as needed
  • Responsibility to maintain Quality Management System (QMS) effectively in the factory
  • Ensure proper quality data monitoring and reporting mechanisms are in place, triggering improvement plans to achieve Quality KPI commitments, and at the same time support other JTI functions to achieve their commitments.
  • Actively support communication with Market, R&D, GSC aiming to reach understanding of customer and consumer needs, resulting in initiation and execution of factory improvement programs.
  • Ensure all locally and globally initiated product quality related projects are timely implemented and delivering expected benefits without negative impact on process & product quality.
  • Support company new product development initiatives from factory quality side by coordinating test & trails needs, ensuring new launches are in line with expected quality criteria.
  • Regularly assess production capability & product quality processes to identify potential optimization and standardization opportunities.
  • Ensure efficient quality team delivery and organization set up, with continues people development, local talent identification and effective succession planning. Actively cooperate on this with HR function and factory management team by using company available tools and direction.
  • Perform any other tasks commissioned by the supervisor. Compliance with EHS procedures, Policy: Health and Safety Responsibilities Guideline, labor law, corporate guidance, internal regulations and work performance instructions.


It will be easier for you to carry out the above tasks if you have:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in similar managerial position in manufacturing area
  • English language knowledge for professional verbal and written communication is a must
  • University degree (preferably technical background)
  • Basic PC literacy (MS Office)
