Material Supply Specialist

 

 

 

What this position is about - Purpose: 

 

Coordination of material planning and purchasing activities.as well as communication and negotiation with suppliers whilst keeping Global / Local Inventory Targets and Global Pricing Strategy.

What will you do - Responsibilities: 

 

  • Ensure materials availability through proper analysis of requirements via ERP system, while adhering to global and local procedures, as well as communicating efficiently with suppliers and collaborators within the company.

  • Maintain commissioned inventory of materials as per aligned guidelines.

  • Facilitate production continuity by keeping track of the production plan and actioning required changes (increases/decreases, accelerations/postponements).

  • Perform accurate data maintenance in the ERP system (for instance PO related dates and quantities) and maintenance of new items appearing daily.

  • Deliver detailed reports and studies requested periodically (PPV; Lot size, Jsox).

  • Complete the Annual Plan (ASP) in due time.

  • Ensure relevant impact of the Team/Department on new initiatives/projects (NPD process; other commissioned projects).

 

Who are we looking for - Requirements: 

 

  • Relevant university degree 

  • Several years of professional experience in planning area 

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken

  • Knowldge of Polish language

  • Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)

  • Knowledge of MS Access is a plus

  • Good knowledge of ERP Systems (SAP preferred)

  • Project management and time management skills are a must

  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills

  • Stress resistance and ability to work under pressure

  • Strong negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills as well as teamwork abilities will complete your profile
