Area Sales Manager Sofia North

 

 

What this role is about:

 

As the Area Sales Manager Sofia North you will lead a team of Trade Marketeers and manage the business of Japan Tobacco International Bulgaria EOOD (JTI) in your assigned region. You will plan and coordinate the implementation of the company's commercial strategy in your region concerning sales, coverage, distribution, and merchandising. You will also be responsible for executing activities related to trade marketing according to JTI's policies and strategies.

 

What you will do – Responsibilities:

 

  • Execute the annual sales and distribution plan for your region, aligning with company policies and values.
  • Develop and implement commercial and marketing activities in line with national strategies and regional needs.
  • Identify opportunities for promotions to boost sales of JTI products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and local chains.
  • Visit clients to ensure commercial and marketing goals are achieved.
  • Conduct market visits with team members to assess performance and develop skills.
  • Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage and optimize the trade marketing budget and operational expenses for your region.
  • Monitor competitor activities and their impact on JTI operations.

 

Who we are looking for – Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum work experience: 4 years in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector and at least 2 years in people management
  • Good command of the English language
  • Computer literacy (MS Office)
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and expertise in merchandising
  • Understanding of commercial and distribution processes, as well as basic financial knowledge
  • Knowledge of trade legislation (commercial contracts)
  • Negotiation skills and analytical skills
  • Team management skills, leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
  • Driving license - category B
