The candidate will be responsible for the full management of Buildings and utilities agenda within all JTI Egypt Factories. This include close follow up of all the team under his responsibilities, ensure the execution of all checks and procedures, identify any gaps and issues and solve in a timely manner, and manage all maintenance contracts related to Buildings and utilities.  He has to ensure quality and conformity to specifications as well as laws and regulations, and management of the execution with all other departments as well as all external authorities and partners. He will be responsible to prepare all relevant reports and analytical data related to buildings and utilities department. All relevant KPIs shall be monitored and delivered as per the plan and raise any concerns in a timely manner.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Close monitor of all areas owned by the Buildings and utilities to ensure sustain it in the optimum conditions to provide production team with the right utilities requirements to have steady production.
  • Deliver projects and KPI commitments in Buildings and utilities, identifying areas of improvement and risks related.
  • Prepare and update regularly all relevant SOPs as well as conduct all the required risk assessments to ensure safe and optimized operation for both routine and non-routine activities to B&U areas.
  • Ensure that all Utilities equipment are running as per the manufacturer recommendations, and JTI standards, and all licenses and approvals from authorities are obtained before operation and highlight early enough before expiry dates to ensure timely renewal, Ensure full compliance with all legal and operational requirements related to B&U areas
  • Ensure that the firefighting network and equipment as well as all other measures for property/people loss prevention are always in operation and in best conditions as per FM and local code requirement.
  • Ensure to cover Engineering track within all types of waste to comply with local laws and regulations, GAFI regulation, and JTI standards.
  • Lead and ensure implementation of building & utilities projects within timely, budget, quality and safety standards including project Development & Execution that are related to his department
  • Plan and control buildings and utilities cost centers 
  • Manage technical fault system and provide timely solutions.
  • Plan all training and development requirements for the B&U team to ensure that the team has the full capacity and knowledge to perform the assigned jobs
  • Contribute to achieve the factory KPIs, support continual improvement for EHS, Energy & Quality management systems and ensure comply with code of conduct, legal & other requirements.

People management 
Recruit, motivate and guide the professional development of the team reporting directly and indirectly to the incumbent.

 

Education:

Bachelor in engineering. (Mechanical, or electrical engineering) 
Excellent knowledge of Building & Utilities and Project management
PMP certified is preferable.

 

Work Experience: 

5 years managerial position of relevant experience. 

 

Language Skills: 

Excellent command of both Arabic & English Languages (spoken and written).

  • Very good computer skill (MS, Autocad…etc.)
  • Very good communication and influencing skills
  • Very good inspection, Planning, scheduling Skills
  • Very good data Analysis and Reporting capabilities
  • Highly skilled in decision making, problem solving and conflict management.
  • Excellent project management skills (timeline, budget, resources management).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and commitments.
  • Works under limited direction and independently determines and develops approach to solutions.
  • Ability to influence others to achieve results.
