Maintenance Engineer Free Zone
What this position is about – Purpose:
The Maintenance Engineer will have to focus to maximize the reliability of components, equipment and processes to sustain high level of productivity and efficiency. By documenting, prioritizing, planning, delivering, and evaluating make & pack operations, using corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance, helps to minimize the risk and impact of failure in equipment and processes. Promote a safe and healthy production environment and perform safe work practices always.
What will you do - Responsibilities:
- Ensure production area is safe to work, productive & has required inventory. Carry out routine inspections & TBM activities on machines to avoid malfunction and other problems. This might include replacing parts and checking & inspection of lubrications, vibrations, parameters, etc. Reports any problems or substandard condition to the engineer
- Respond to breakdowns and repair the equipment. Diagnose faults and breakdown problems. Fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly. Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs. Analyze root causes of equipment failures and propose corrective actions
- Read and understand technical manuals for equipment operations and maintenances. Maintain documentation of equipment maintenance and repair procedures for future reference procedures
- Participate in DMS and Line meetings and obtain all required information. Propose improvements to enhance equipment performance and reliability. Approaches arising challenges with confidence, actively solves problems, even when facing difficulties and setbacks, Responsible to ensure proper 5S3R of all areas within make & pack through implementation of sustainable programs
- Contribute to achieve the factory KPIs, support continual improvement for EHS, Energy & Quality management systems and ensure comply with code of conduct, legal & other requirements
Who are we looking for - Requirements:
- BSc of engineering ( Mechanical )
- Experience of 3-5 years in the maintenance field (FMCG)
- Good English
- Good technical background, well prepared, good observer, 5S3R , RCFA, TBM/CBM, IWS, mechanical fixing, and troubleshooting skills.
