Costing Supervisor (Location: Shebin El Kom)
You will specialize in areas which directly impact product cost to continuously challenge the status quo and cost-saving opportunities. You will ensure necessary participation and support in the company’s planning, forecasting and budgeting cycles. Guarantee proper safeguarding of the company’s assets through adherence to the existing and implementation of new procedures.
As the Costing Supervisor in the Global Supply Chain Finance Department, you will:
Represent GSC Finance as a single point of contact and closely follow up fixed assets, CIP and depreciation for 3 factories to:
- Calculate and submit depreciation of existing and future fixed assets on the system for plan periods and explain variances between plans. Prepare and monitor the depreciation of the CIP. Make all required submissions via the systems
- Coordinate all CAPEX projects with the Engineering Team, provide guidance to create cost-saving opportunities and finally prepare CAPEX reports for the planning process to align with Management
- Manage and coordinate all planning, product cost process-related activities with relevant parties for all factories on behalf of GSC Finance to timely and accurately forecast product cost
- Lead the implementation of the Internal Controls Framework in coordination with the Internal Controls Department in Market and GSC HQ, and closely follow up on execution and evidence documentation with involved parties to ensure the controls are maintained as per description
- Contribute to achieving the factory KPIs, support continual improvement for EHS, Energy & Quality management systems and ensure compliance with the code of conduct, legal & other
Requirements:
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related study. CPA/CMA or another relevant accounting qualification
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in an Accounting position in a multinational company
- Fluent English
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office) and ERP, preferred Microsoft Dynamics and SAP
