[Position At a Glance]

The aim of this position is to identify and explore digital opportunities across Route to Consumer within Marketing and Sales, and develop & maintain solutions/platforms which will address opportunities in order to increase efficiencies and level of competitiveness for JTI Korea.

The incumbent will be responsible for strengthening our digital capabilities elaborating on new technologies and enabling digital marketing excellence. He/she will be translating JTI's brand & commercial objective into B2B & B2C digital initiatives delivering increased awareness, improved engagement, customer lead generation, and holistic digital implementation across all digital platforms.

Excellent project management skill is required as he/she will be working with people at all levels of the organization and with a wide range of technically and culturally diverse people influencing them to get things done, and delivering value added, high quality business results within tight deadlines. (IT, Finance, Sales, Brand team & Region / HQ)


[Main Areas of Responsibility]


Digital Marketing Strategy

  • Define and establish role and objective of digital marketing within JTI Korea ensuring its consistency with existing offline strategy
  • Identify JTI Korea's gaps and opportunities in digital area to strengthen our performance and competitiveness, benchmarking FMCG and other industries
  • Develop B2B & B2C digital marketing strategies and campaigns with a particular focus on e-commerce
  • Bring new technology to JTI Korea's operating model to achieve efficiency and effectiveness                                                                                                                                                                                   


Digital Platforms

  • Full responsibility of B2B & B2C digital platform for wide range of JTI products
  • Define target audience and operating mechanics in conjunction with marketing team and sales team
  • Assess existing global & local solutions to select best approach for JTI Korea
  • Develop platform(s) with internal stakeholders & 3rd party service providers
  • Develop digital contents in collaboration with internal Marketing & Sales, relevant functions, regions and HQ if necessary
  • Collaborate & lead discussion with internal stakeholders for transaction & logistics for E-commerce platform
  • Maintain, promote and improve platform continuously as appropriate : Customer experience management & Lead generation
  • KPI setting and performance tracking (Analytics)


Digital Monitoring

  • Multidimensional understanding of consumer voice on category, JTI product and competitors utilizing online monitoring tools
  • Monitor & create regular report on competitor's digital initiatives
  • Support relevant functions to collect data and insight via online to deepen company's understanding on consumer, trade and competitors


Project Management

  • Manages all internal administrative and approval processes related to the role & initiatives.
  • Responsible for managing all processes related to the function budget and for maintaining the budget account.
  • Work closely with all internal stakeholders to maximize seamless collaboration, reduce duplication of work and create synergy




[Ideal candidate brings in]                                                                                                                        

  • Above the University degree
  • Above 5 years of Marketing experience with at least 3 years of Digital marketing experience in FMCG / retail or equivalent industry
  • Experience in e-commerce, CRM solutions, Analytical tools are must, preferably both with global & local platform
  • Abundant digital experience and knowledge in B2B & B2C digital marketing
  • Experience and familiarity with new technologies and innovative solutions.
  • Proven project management skills with cross functional team and multiple stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen and strategic understanding of Sales and Trade Marketing in FMCG industry
  • Marketing / Sales experience in tobacco or other regulate products is an advantage
  • Experience in SAP, Oracle solutions and content management systems is a plus
  • Fluent in English and Korean -verbal and written
