[Position At a Glance]
The incumbent will be responsible for development of consumer communication message, cycle material development and distribution of POSMs to sales branches. He/She will support the Brand Activation manager in all consumer and trade marketing related activities to achieve the pre-defined brand objectives. He/She will work closely with sales departments to support quality implementation of trade cycle activities and track its execution and effectiveness with related stakeholders. The role includes internal procedures, budget management and reporting.


[Main Areas of Responsibility]
1. Brand activation strategy & planning

  • Identify most effective & consumer-relevant communication message & channels by constantly studying market trend & dynamics and in & out of category examples
  • Monitor the media and competitors media activities on a monthly basis and share with marketing and sales departments
  • Support brand activation manager to plan cycle activities, target area and duration in close collaboration with Sales & trade marketing

2. Vendor management for development of communication materials

  • Develop communication concepts & messages for each brand by working closely with brand equity managers and HQ brand groups
  • Closely communicate & manage various vendors (creative agency, production and delivery) to develop impactful and effective key visuals and key tag line for each cycle to deliver brand message in consumer languages on ATL & BTL materials
  • Develop, produce and deliver communication tools (PoS material, leaflet, ATL, price announcement etc) in timely manner
  • Ensure quality of POSMs produced and deployed in the outlet
  • Supervise vendor related cost & internal approval process
  • Maintain high-quality vendors by evaluating vendor's performance and take corrective action when necessary
  • Initiate and lead bidding process with Procurement team

3. KPI tracking & Reporting

  • Evaluate program effectiveness vs brand KPIs, monitor results and recommend corrective actions
  • Ensure cycle activities to be reflected in Sales Team's KPI by working closely with sales planning team
  • Continuously look for ways to improve programs' effectiveness and cost efficiency

4. Project management

  • Plan and manage cycle preparation process together with Sales, trade marketing and external vendors for timely execution
  • Obtain proper approval for all materials to ensure internal/external compliance
  • Manage & track budget for brand activation team

 

[Requirements]

  • High standard of university degree (required) / MBA or equivalent educational background (desirable)
  • 3 years + with relevant experiences in FMCG marketing and sales functions
  • Both global & regional (in-market) experience (desirable)
  • Cross-cultural and functional project experience
  • Good knowledge in strategic planning (Brand portfolio management, pricing, taxation, P&L)
  • Good understanding of operational constraints and strong executional reflex
  • Fluent written & spoken Korean and English
