Position Purpose:

The People & Culture Associate role is key role within the People & Culture Team, providing a wide range of support to our c.200 Colleagues in Manchester as JTI continues our Global Transformation into a period of unprecedented change.

The main purpose of this role is to provide administrative support and guidance that enables business stakeholders and proactively drive forward the subsequent required actions. This position is very varied, and you will have the opportunity to become involved in a wide range of People and Culture activities. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provision of People & Culture Administration
  • Reporting and Analysis
  • Coordination of events and communications
  • Working with the team to provide advice on matters including Employment Law, Employee Relations and Performance issues etc, 
  • Supporting the People & Culture Lead, Resource Manager and L&D Manager with specific projects and associated administration
  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships within the team and wider business
  • Other duties as required

Minimum Criteria: 

  • Proven background working in a HR administration / advisory role essential
  • Have an awareness of Employment legislation
  • SAP HR experience preferred
  • Analytical ability with attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and communication skills 
  • Strong MS Excel / Reporting knowledge 
  • Proactive and self-driven

This role is being advertised on a fixed term contract basis for a minimum period of 12 months. 

Starting Salary for the position will be C. £28,000 pa + 5% contract completion bonus and comprehensive benefits package
