Position Purpose

We are looking for someone who is keen in building a rewarding career within a sales function and has the right fit and excited to be part of a dynamic team.

The key objective of this position is to be the Business Process Lead for an in-house Sales System that covers and captures Sales, Logistics, and Finance transactions and data to primarily support the Direct Sales & Distribution of JTI’s products to 4,000 retailers in Singapore.



The incumbent is responsible for the following key areas -


1) Proper functioning of the Sales System which will include, upon detection of a system issue, leading the troubleshooting and resolution process while working closely with Subject Matter Experts from IT, Logistics and Finance as well as external vendor whenever relevant.


2) Lead and manage projects relating to small scale system enhancements or large-scale system change/ migration, supported by internal SMEs and appointed Power Users.


3) Organize and lead user acceptance tests pertaining to a system enhancement or issue resolution, working with appointed Power Users.


4) Perform system related operational tasks like periodic resetting of passwords, managing user access, processing and reporting of hardware damage/ loss incidents, coordinate refreshment of hardware etc. The incumbent is occasionally required to work beyond office hours to resolve system issues or monitor and test fixes.


5) Ensure integrity of data captured/ stored in Sales system is maintained.  Work with Power Users and external vendor to resolve any data discrepancies.


6) Perform extraction, analysis and reporting of Sales Operations data.


7) Support Daily Order to Customers entries in SAP.


Who we are looking for?

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology
  • Experience dealing with system work from an Operational perspective
  • Project Management Skills - preferably has experience in leading a system migration/ implementation project
  • Highly proficient in Excel
  • Possess SAP transactional knowledge
  • Highly analytical, good problem-solving skills, and willing to be "hands-on"


General Information

This is a permanent position based in Singapore and on local contract terms.
