Key Account Executive
The Key Account Executive position exists to establish, cultivate, and grow strategic relationships with JTI's key customers. This role ensures that key accounts receive exceptional service, tailored solutions, driving customer satisfaction. By aligning retailers goals with the company’s offerings, the Key Account Executive is crucial in achieving sustainable revenue growth and reinforcing the company’s position as a trusted business partner in the marketplace.
They shall possess strong business acumen, negotiation and the ability to resolves high level / complex retailer issues.
They must be able to work closely / liaise with outlets manager to ensure effective communication and co-operation.
As the Key Account Executive, you will do:
- Account Management:
- Developing Relationships: Builds deep, long-term partnerships with key retailers by proactively addressing retailers feedback, resolve issues, and anticipate future needs to maintain a driven edge.
- Business Growth: Identifies key gaps and opportunities and work to expand the accounts potential
- Tailored Solutions: Collaborates with internal teams to offer customized solutions that align with the accounts business objectives.
- Negotiation & Problem-Solving:
- Negotiating Contracts: Leads renewal discussions, terms, and value propositions to secure mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Issue Resolution: Acts as the first point of escalation for challenges, using a strategic approach to address issues.
- Develop and Implement Account Strategies:
- Create data-driven account plans that align with client goals and improve revenue potential.
Leverage sales data, market trends, and shopper insights to propose innovative solutions that enhance category performance. - Provides clients with insights on market trends, industry developments, and competitive analysis to position the company as a leader with vision.
- Acts as a trusted advisor, helping clients shape their own strategies through joint business planning.
- Create data-driven account plans that align with client goals and improve revenue potential.
- Monitor and Report Performance:
- Track account performance metrics, including sales growth, market share, and return on investment of trade activities.
- Provide regular updates and actionable insights to Key Account Manager, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Supervise and analyze account performance, ensuring proactive measures are taken to address potential risks or challenges.
- Stay Ahead in a Dynamic Market:
- Keep up-to-date with FMCG industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to find opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Act as a trusted advisor to retailers by offering insights and strategies that address evolving market demands.
Who are we looking for?
- A graduate with a University or Bachelor's Degree.

At least 2 years experience in Account management/Field Trade Marketing/Sales.

Possesses knowledge in account management, POSM, marketing practice in tobacco industry (desirable).

Good negotiation and data analytics skills (NielsenIQ).

Knowledge of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint presentation skills.
- Must have Class 3 Driver's License.
