SPARE PARTS ENGINEER

Spare parts engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the availability of necessary components for maintenance activities, supporting the overall reliability of equipment. Additionally,he/she is responsible for the creation and timely procurement of spare parts in alignment with the maintenance plan requirements, ensuring that necessary items are on hand to avoid downtime. In urgent situations, he/she should expedite and closely follow up on spare parts deliveries to minimize operational delays. Focus on identifying and implementing opportunities for reducing safety stock, promoting efficiency and cost-saving measures. By driving the adoption of time-based (TBM) and condition-based maintenance (CBM) standards as alternatives to increasing safety stock, he/she should maintain optimal inventory levels without compromising equipment reliability. Furthermore, he/she is monitoring and control the delivery performance of suppliers to ensure timely and quality deliveries, while also managing regular intercompany transfers of spare parts to balance supply and demand across different locations.

Requirments:

• Creation and timely purchase of spare parts as per Maintenance Plans’ requirements
• Expedite/follow-up urgent spare parts deliveries 
• Ensure Safety Stock Reduction opportunities are implemented 
• Identify opportunities and drive TBM/CBM preventive standards creation as preferred alternative to Safety Stock increases 
• Control Spare Parts Suppliers delivery performanc

Qualifications:

• Technical/ Engineering mechanical or Electrical major with 2-3  years of experience
• Detailed knowledge and high level technical experience in maintenance  mechanical & electrical , planning strategy and process  , data analysis, quality standards, safety management and cost / budgetary control, leadership & motivation skills.
• Arabic and Business English language for effective verbal and written communication, PC, Microsoft Office applications.
