Reduced-Risk Products Brand Manager

The RRP Brand Manager operates in a fast‑paced environment and works closely with the RRP Lead and cross‑functional teams to strengthen brand equity, grow market share, and enhance consumer engagement for JTI’s RRP brand in Korea. This role is accountable for brand stewardship, communication strategy, and innovative marketing initiatives—from packaging and point‑of‑sale to integrated campaigns—while ensuring alignment with global brand guidelines and business objectives.


What You'll Do:

  • Brand Strategy & Launch Excellence. Lead and implement brand and launch strategies in close collaboration with local management, regional teams, and global brand groups, ensuring timely, high‑quality execution aligned with global standards.
  • Integrated Marketing & Commercial Strategy. Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies across the full marketing mix to build brand equity, drive awareness, and support JTI’s growth and competitiveness in the RRP category.
  • Communication & Campaign Development. Own the development of local communication strategies, ensuring impactful delivery of brand messages in the Korean market while maintaining consistency with global guidelines.
  • Consumer Insight & Market Intelligence. Monitor consumer, shopper, trade, and competitive trends; translate insights into actionable strategies and innovative initiatives to continuously improve brand performance across product, packaging, and communication.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Planning. Act as the key liaison across Marketing & Sales teams and global stakeholders, contributing to annual strategic planning (ASP) and ensuring integrated execution of brand plans.
  • Budget, Agency & Portfolio Management. Manage brand investment allocation, portfolio and brand P&L inputs, and agency relationships—including project delivery, budget control, and performance evaluation—to maximize marketing effectiveness.

 

What You Bring:

  • High standard of University degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in FMCG marketing and/or sales, with strong exposure to brand management and the full marketing mix
  • Proven ability to develop brand, communication, and go‑to‑market strategies, supported by solid commercial acumen and analytical thinking
  • Strong experience in consumer insight generation, competitive analysis, product and packaging development, and new product launches
  • Demonstrated project and agency management skills, including budget and resource allocation responsibility
  • Highly collaborative, creative, and outcome‑oriented, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and execution excellence
  • Fluent in English and Korean; proficient in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
