RRP Brand Associate (Temporary)

Are you looking for a career that combines creativity, strategy, and innovation? JTI Korea is searching for an ambitious and enthusiastic RRP Brand Associate to join our team. For a 12-month period, you’ll gain hands-on experience across the full marketing mix, from developing commercial and brand strategies to leading product launches and consumer activation campaigns.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to learn and grow within the fast-evolving Risk Reduced Products (RRP) category. You’ll collaborate with local and global stakeholders, work on impactful projects, and develop the skills to become a future leader in brand marketing.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Launch & Strategy Alignment: Work closely with the Brand Manager, local leadership, and Ploom Global Brand Group to design and implement successful launch strategies for new products and initiatives.

  • Commercial Strategy Support: Contribute to the development of brand and commercial strategies to strengthen Ploom’s equity and drive JTI’s growth in the RRP category.

  • Consumer Activation & Communication: Lead the design and execution of communication and activation strategies in Korea, delivering impactful, locally relevant campaigns aligned with global brand guidelines.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Develop brand and operational guidelines for internal stakeholders, and coordinate launch and brand initiatives across teams.

  • Agency & Partner Management: Manage both local and global agencies, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality output.

  • Market Insights: Monitor industry dynamics, identify key opportunities, and share actionable insights with stakeholders.

  • Project Support: Handle special projects and assignments, managing budgets and costs effectively in line with JTI guidelines. 

 

What We’re Looking For

  • University degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA is a plus but not essential).

  • 1–2 years of experience in marketing management within FMCG, ideally with exposure to brand, product, or communication strategy.

  • Experience in new product development, digital marketing, or social media campaigns is a strong advantage.

  • Proven skills in project management, agency management, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Fluent in Korean and English (written & spoken).

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); SAP/PLM knowledge is an advantage.

  • Creative, analytical, and entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for marketing and growth.
