Line Manager: Commercial Planning Manager

Duty Post: Seoul, South Korea

Commercial Planning Associate (Temporary - 12 months)

In this role, you will be supporting the Commercial Planning team in driving effective commercial execution, enhancing market visibility, and delivering cross-functional business initiatives. The role focuses on coordinating commercial activities, improving field readiness, managing execution timelines, and contributing to initiatives that strengthen in-market performance.

As Commercial Planning Associate, you will be responsible for the following:

• Commercial Activity Planning & Execution. Support the rollout of key commercial activities such as product launches, promotions, pricing changes, and field communications. Consolidate commercial timelines and milestones, monitor execution progress, and identify gaps or risks, while coordinating follow-ups with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation.

• Share of Voice (SOV) & Merchandising. Support the development and execution of visibility and merchandising plans aligned with commercial priorities. Oversee POSM operations including vendor coordination, deployment tracking, and inventory management, while ensuring strong in-store execution and alignment with merchandising guidelines.

• Commercial Analysis & Insights.Prepare and maintain reports on sales performance, market execution, and outlet coverage. Provide insights on risks and opportunities, support business reviews, and ensure accuracy and integrity of planning data and reporting outputs.

• Project & Business Support. Support key commercial projects related to route-to-consumer strategies, channel optimization, and field force effectiveness. Assist in developing presentations, business cases, and tracking deliverables for priority initiatives.

• Cross-Functional Coordination. Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, SCM, and other functions to ensure alignment on priorities and execution needs. Facilitate communication, stakeholder meetings, and follow-ups to drive collaboration and timely delivery of actions.

You ideally have:

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of experience in FMCG and data analysis
• Experience in commercial, sales, or business performance analysis; exposure to BI tools is a plus
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills with the ability to build reports and presentations
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capability
• Project coordination and stakeholder management skills in a cross-functional environment
• Strong communication and presentation skills in both Korean and English
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
