IWS Manager

 

Purpose of the role:

 

Responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of IWS at the factory, acting as a pioneer of “Cultural Change” by fostering a zero-loss mindset and applying a servant leadership approach. The role’s objective is to ensure that capabilities (both technical and soft skills) are developed at all levels of the organization, as well as to implement new processes and standards and sustain them over time.

 

What we are looking for:

 

  • 5 years of experience in Production areas;
  • 2–3 years of experience in continuous improvement and process control;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Bachelor’s degree in one of the Engineering disciplines or in a related field;

 

Your day to day:

  • IWS Culture
    Foster a zero-loss mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
    Ensure that everyone in the organization is involved and has ownership of both results and processes.
    Ensure that all leadership levels at the factory implement the servant leadership approach, acting as a role model in coaching practices and in promoting the LEARN–DO–TEACH process mindset;
  • KPI's 
    Define new KPIs related to shift, cell, weekly, and monthly DDD input and output processes, and ensure their achievement.
    Act as a pillar owner and active member, performing a coaching role on the shop floor, with involvement in and control of DDS, planned stoppages, and health checks;
  • Coordination
    Work closely with leadership to identify SSO and to develop them in the required capabilities and skills.
    Train and support leaders during the IWS implementation, including pillar activation, development strategy, and cascading of processes, as well as other systems connected to IWS as required.
    Be responsible for the training and leadership of the local team (Cell Leader, Process Leader, and Maintenance Leader). Ensure continuous improvement of technical knowledge and the development of transversal competencies, communicating training needs and evaluation results to the other leaders involved;
  • RTT & Pillar Activation
    Plan and oversee the rollout of RTT across site lines and departments.
    Lead RTT training and system coaching events.
    Support factory leadership and trainer engagement throughout the IWS implementation.
    Ensure that DMS are activated and that DDS are conducted in line with global standards;
  • People Management
    Recruitment, engagement, and guidance of the professional and technical development of teams reporting directly or indirectly to the role.
