Finance Lead RMC Brazil - Santa Cruz do Sul/RS

 

 

About the position:

 

Lead factory finance activities, including product costing and ASP, budgeting and forecasting, management and statutory reporting, financial analysis, inventory and CAPEX control, accounting governance, internal controls and compliance. Partner with business stakeholders to support decisions and continuous improvement, while managing, coaching and developing the local controlling team and ensuring effective cross-functional communication.

 

Requirements:

 

  • University degree in Finance or related field;
  • Solid professional experience; strong knowledge of factory processes, strong financial planning & reporting and cost accounting knowledge;
  • Strong expertise in manufacturing finance, including conversion, NTM and leaf costing, with a solid understanding of cost drivers, inventory management, forecasting, and cash flow planning;
  • Strong business partnering skills, effectively collaborating to influence performance and support strategic decision-making;
  • Advanced PC literacy, including strong Excel skills and proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP;
  • English language for effective verbal and written communication;
  • Knowledge of IWS (Integrated Work System) will be considered a strong asset for this position;
  • International experience is a plus.

 

Main areas of responsibility:

 

  • Financial Control & Compliance: Lead and supervise financial and management accounting activities, ensuring accurate reporting, a robust internal control environment, and full compliance with company policies, procedures, local legislation, and external regulations
  • Product Cost Planning & Performance: Lead product cost planning, forecasting, and actual-results analysis, ensuring accurate and timely alignment with approved ASP and LE assumptions and clearly explaining key cost variances and performance drivers.
  • Inventory, Governance & Other Duties: Oversee inventory management and related financial controls, support compliance with company safety requirements, and perform other business activities assigned by the direct supervisor that are consistent with the role’s responsibilities.
  • Capital Expenditure & Investment Control: Provide financial guidance for capital investment decisions, control approved CAPEX, monitor project delivery and spending, and coordinate post-implementation reviews to confirm expected business benefits.
  • IWS Loss Elimination (LE) Pillar Leadership: Lead the factory LE pillar and its cross-functional team, establishing governance and ownership for pillar tools and standards. Drive data-based identification, prioritization, root-cause analysis, and sustainable elimination of losses across the factory; coach teams in IWS problem-solving methods, track progress toward the zero-loss journey, and collaborate with other pillars to embed LE in daily operations and deliver measurable business results.
  • Business Partnering & Continuous Improvement: Partner with factory functions, other departments, entities, and markets to support target achievement, strengthen decision-making, maintain effective communication flows, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and develop the local controlling team through clear priorities, balanced workload and resource allocation, effective performance management, knowledge sharing, and active participation in finance improvement initiatives.
