WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE:

The objective is to effectively manage EHS activities to ensure compliance with EHS legal requirements and in line with company standards.     

 

                                                                                                                                                                                                      

WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Fully responsible and accountable for EHS Management (Environment, Health & Safety). As mentioned at the RD 39/1997:
    • Risk Assessment development
    • Implement, coordinate and control the Preventive Planning Action Plans to reduce risks
    • Safety information and training actions for the employees
    • Promote safety culture at all the organization
    • Implement and coordinate the Emergency and Evacuation Program
    • Coordinate the actions of the Health & Safety Committee.
  • Fulfill and ensure that all the legal requirements and internal procedures are set out in our location, assuming Environment, Health and Safety responsibilities.
  • Prepare EHS plans for ASP process to drive EHS management system based on: ISO14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001. Including EHS KPI`s planning.         
  • Monitoring factory performance indicators: EHS KPIs. Analyze data and address action programs for further improvement.                                                        
  • Initial job risk training for new employees. Establish refresher safety training programs. Maintain the training base.
  • Follow-up safety incidents, to adopt the necessary preventive measures to eliminate their recurrence.

 

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:

  • Has at least 3 years of experience working in Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental matters. 
  • Holds an official Master's degree in Occupational Risk Prevention with the three specialties (safety, hygiene and ergonomics).
  • Related higher education studies (engineering, environmental sciences, chemistry)
  • Is fluent in English and Spanish
  • A proactive and independent contributor
  • Communicates proactively across all stakeholders
