Regional Sales Operations Associate EAST

 

We are looking for a Regional Sales Operations Associate EAST for a position located in Algeria and reporting to Sales & Distribution Manager.

 

The ideal candidate will be reporting and working very closely with the Sales & Distribution Manager. S/He will be responsible for achieving volume, ND / OOS objectives in the assigned geographical area - Setif and proximities - by establishing sustainable relationships with wholesalers, semi-wholesalers, retailers in line with aligned distribution coverage / prioritization. S/He will be also responsible to coordinate the merchandising efforts ensuring all activities are deployed in line with RTM coverage / KPIs and in compliance with applicable policies and procedures.

 

What you will be doing:

 

As a Regional Sales Operations Associate, your key responsibilities are:

 

  • Achieving volume, ND, OOS, RSP targets by establishing and fostering fruitful / responsible relationships with semi-wholesalers / retailers in the assigned area.
  • Coordinating regional merchandising team with the aim to:

- Implement promotional programs in line with RTM coverage

- Ensure availability of SKUs at semi-wholesalers and retailers (also via stock correction programs

        - Secure visibility of SKUs at retailers in line with agreed planograms

        - Collect sales data in a timely and consistent manner

  • Proactively escalating distribution challenges / opportunities, proposing alternative options to Sales & Distribution Manager as appropriate
  • Gathering / reporting trade and competitors insights from the assigned area in a structured and timely manner, thereby enabling prompt and informed M&S follow up actions.
  • Coordinating, coaching, developing the external merchandising team in line with JTI Global Flagship Behaviors. Keeping the Sales & Distribution Manager informed about people-related challenges / opportunities.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related Sales / Trade field
  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations role preferably in FMCG industry
  • Fluent English, French and Arabic; Berber considered a plus
  • Strong knowledge of wholesalers / semi-wholesalers / retailers patterns
  • Good understanding of RTM coverage / merchandising / sales KPIs
  • Effective negotiation and communication skills
  • Proactive, structured, responsible and results oriented
  • Team player able to deliver under pressure
