Consumer Insights Specialist

 

 

What this position is about

 

The incumbent will be the main point of contact for Consumer Intelligence comprised by, but not limited to, spread a consumer-centric culture by supporting direct manager in local, regional and global Brand Image and Segmentation studies and other consumer-related topics.

Support direct manager in qualitative and quantitative research planning, briefing agencies, developing questionnaires, ensuring data integrity, presenting results and generating insights in order to help brand managers and other stakeholders to develop brand strategies.

The person will be responsible for the JTI Tracker database, Incidence Study and Ad-Hoc Quali and Quanti assessments. Also, the person will need to ensure optimal management of research partners as well as quality of data collection, treatment and internal interpretation.

In addition, the person will be a key team player during the implementation of JTI Consumer Segmentation, aiming to embed Brands plans with the most strategic and relevant group of consumers to maximize JTI investments efficiency to accelerate growth.

The person will also support the team and organization during planning periods and be responsible for the SI monthly reports linked to consumer dynamics.

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields;
  • Postgraduate degree or specialization is a plus;
  • Experience in similar roles;
  • Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

 

  • Syndicated Data - JTI Tracker:  Working close with global team, ensure JTI Tracker data is received on time and with quality. Ensure JTI Brazil Tracker data is as well maintained within global dashboards and databases. Perform continued analysis identifying gaps of JTI brands vs. competition, providing sound recommendations of actional business insights to the brands and commercial teams.
  • AD-HOC Research: Working close with the demanding teams, liaising with key suppliers, design questionnaires, ensuring correct sample is being considered and that data collection, treatment and stratification abides to ISO 20252 standards. Ensure actionable business insights are derived from the study, and are well understood by the demanding teams, allowing them to take decisions.
  • Monthly Reporting: Ensure timely delivery with quality for all consumer reporting requirements, including but not limited to: routine Tracker reports, Monthly Marketing Brief, amongst others.
  • Consumer Segmentation: Based on the JTI Tracker database, develop JTI consumer segmentation module and work closely with the SI Manager to support its understanding by the Brands team, and inclusion for future portfolio and brand equity initiatives.
  • Planning: Support the brands team during planning periods with brands and consumer analysis, alignment of strategies whilst ensuring JTI plans adherence to JTI consumer centric methodology.
