Digital Marketing Manager


About the Role 

The Digital Marketing Manager is in charge of planning, developing, implementing and managing omni-channel B2B and B2B2C activation initiatives in collaboration with the JTI USA and global teams in line with brand priorities and business objectives; Is also responsible for leading continuous development of B2B Evolve (Connexus) trade engagement platform by engaging the sales and trade marketing team and driving online ordering project from a business lead perspective in collaboration with Trade Marketing, IT and global teams; Will establish business cases, build go-to-market strategies and engage Strategic Insights and Finance teams on establishing volume forecasts and financials. 



What you will do

  • Lead B2B and B2B2C digital strategy and drive digitalizationa agenda in line with JTI USA business goals. Manage day to day operations of the trade platform Evolve/Connexus. Responsible for content development, retention, engagement. Work with key stakeholders to develop new creative assets for the website and mailers. Drive online ordering project from a business technical lead perspective in alignment with local and global stakeholders;
  • In charge of planning, developing, implementing and managing omni-channel consumer activation initiatives in line with JTI USA and brand objectives involving portfolio developments and structuring communication plans for retail and digital across available touchpoints; aligning and engaging JTI USA and global teams;
  • Manage day-to-day relationship with DBU across all relevant brand initiatives. Partner with cross-functional teams, including product development, branding marketing, customer service, legal, corporate affairs and IT;
  • Develop digital strategies and establish plans in line with business priorities involving online communication, messaging and activation with wholesale & retail partners; engage key stakeholders to drive execution across all touchpoints;
  • Connect with a wide array of data across retail (Nielsen, MSA), digital (GA) and qualitative/quantitative consumer research to draw actionable consumer centric insights and convert them into actionable business strategies. Establish business cases, build go-to-market strategies and engage Strategic Insights and Finance teams on establishing volume forecasts and financials;
  • Recruit, motivate and guide the professional development of the team reporting directly and indirectly to the incumbent;
  • Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request.



Who We Are Looking For

dynamic, passionate, and result-oriented person, with:

  • 4-7 years of experience in consumer and trade marketing. Experience across both, retail and digital marketing preferred;
  • Proficiency in English with excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Marketing or related field;
  • Must have both strong strategic capabilities as well as ability to be hands-on and manage tactical execution;
  • Strong collaborator with the ability to navigate projects within a complex organizational structure and stakeholders across functions;
  • Experienced in activating brands in both, a retail and online enviornment;
  • Thorough understanding of digital marketing principles;
  • Analytical skills and ability to develop strategies based on sound data analytics; familiar with Google Analytics and retail data (MSAi & Nielsen) a plus;
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Powerpoint and Excel
  • Excellent project management skills;
  • Basic knowledge of webdevelopment and UX design;
  • B2B experience a plus; familiar with e-mail marketing services and consumer segmentation.
