RRP Brand Manager
What will you do?
You will partner with the RRP Director and the RRP Brand Portfolio & Pricing Lead Manager to develop and deliver the marketing mix for JTI LIGGETT’s Reduced Risk Product categories in the U.S.Reduced-risk products (RRPs) are products with the potential to reduce the risks associated with smoking, e.g. modern oral, e-vapor, heated tobacco products.You will build brand equity from the ground up by shaping positioning, packaging, messaging, and communication.You will lead competitive assessments and translate market and consumer insights into clear brand strategies and plans that drive differentiation and growth.
You will work closely with Strategic Insights, Activation, and Digital teams to ensure brand assets are consistently applied across launch and deployment activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop U.S.‑relevant brand positioning and ensure all deployment materials are consistently anchored in the overarching brand strategy.
- Lead and manage the execution of brand initiatives across packaging, messaging, and communication for Reduced Risk Product categories, in close collaboration with HQ and GBS (Global Business Services) on New Product Development initiatives.
- Drive above‑the‑line and below‑the‑line communication campaigns, including creative development, agency and media partner coordination, KPI tracking, and budget management.
- Own brand assets and content across all channels, working closely with Digital, Activation, and Merchandising teams to ensure effective implementation.
- Collaborate closely with the Strategic Insights team to conduct brand assessments, build consumer insights, and connect the dots to develop a holistic understanding of U.S. consumers.
- Monitor and analyse the performance of JTI LIGGETT and competitive brand initiatives, translating results into insights and recommendations to optimize future strategies.
- Support the RRP Director in communicating brand strategies and performance through A&SP plans and key business updates.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in Marketing, Strategic Insights, or Trade Marketing roles
- Proven experience launching and building new brands
- Good understanding of brand building, packaging, and communication strategy development, with the ability to translate strategy into effective execution.
- Experience with or strong understanding of the U.S. consumer is highly beneficial.
- Strong strategic mindset with the ability to collaborate across functions, navigate complex organizations, and influence stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (written and spoken).
