Why does this role exist?
The Digital Experience & Marketing Technology Manager RRP (Reduced Risk Products) partners with the Digital Lead Manager to develop and optimize the owned digital infrastructure for Reduced Risk Products in the United States. The role is accountable for establishing the marketing technology platform and managing website operations from end to end to support consumer acquisition, engagement and retention
What will you actually do?
• Contribute to the Reduced Risk Products digital strategy and continuously optimize the owned website platform and digital brand experience
• Establish and manage the digital ecosystem supporting search engine optimization, paid media, customer relationship management, analytics and consumer registration
• Own the end-to-end website ecosystem, including platform development, web analytics, asset tagging, search engine optimization setup, and customer relationship management capabilities, delivering outcomes through a combination of internal expertise, external agency partners, and local IT resources
• Develop consumer data capture infrastructure, registration journeys, marketing automation capabilities and consumer registration experiences
• Collaborate with local and global Information Technology teams to identify appropriate solutions for the United States digital ecosystem
• Establish an age-verification system in compliance with local regulations
• Enable lead-generation initiatives through website optimization, landing pages, digital capabilities and collaboration with local retail teams
• Manage the execution of digital campaigns based on briefs provided by the Brand Team and Consumer Programs Lead Manager
• Implement campaign measurement and A/B testing across website and customer relationship management platforms
• Coordinate digital assets and content with Brand, Legal and Corporate Affairs stakeholders
• Analyze website, campaign, digital platform and e-commerce performance and recommend improvements
• Manage the digital and website operations budget and review budget phasing in collaboration with Finance
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field
- At least five years of experience in digital platform management, website operations or a related digital role
- Demonstrated experience managing owned digital platforms, including content management system administration, website operations, analytics implementation and digital technology integration
- Proven experience building, launching, and scaling website platforms from the ground up, with a strong understanding of website operations, digital marketing platforms, analytics, and the broader digital marketing landscape
- Experience managing external agencies, technology vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders, combined with strong communication, collaboration, leadership, and critical-thinking skills
- Experience in Reduced Risk Products or another regulated consumer category is strongly preferred, with knowledge of U.S. RRP digital operations and regulations considered an advantage; fluent English and a proactive, self-starting approach with a strong sense of ownership are essential
