Car Fleet Manager
As our Car Fleet Manager, you will lead fleet management across all U.S. entities and locations, ensuring exceptional service standards while advancing our Green Mobility agenda. You will also play a key role in shaping and driving Health & Safety initiatives for JTI drivers nationwide.
This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and make a meaningful impact in a dynamic business environment spanning Leaf, Ready-Made Cigarettes Manufacturing, and Market operations, always with a strong focus on consumer centricity.
Your skills/experience
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and results-oriented professional with:
- 3-5 years of experience in Car Fleet Management within a mid-sized or large corporation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with a proven track record of cross-functional partnership.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders across the organization and manage external vendor relationships.
- Demonstrated decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Fluency in English.
- A high level of integrity, accountability, and personal responsibility.
- Strong flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience working effectively in culturally diverse environments.
- Working knowledge of HR systems such as SAP and SuccessFactors would be an advantage.
- A Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Management, or a related field would be an advantage.
What You'll Be Doing
Car Fleet Management
- Review and update vehicle policies across all U.S. entities to ensure streamlined and effective fleet management processes.
- Design and implement a service model that delivers a high standard of support to corporate vehicle drivers, including vehicle leasing and replacement, accident management and repairs, fuel card administration, insurance programs, and related services, while maintaining strong relationships with drivers and fleet vendors.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive, up-to-date onboarding training and presentations for all new drivers, ensuring they receive all necessary information and guidance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all JTI USA employees with company vehicles, providing support and guidance on all fleet-related matters.
Green Mobility
- Lead the development of a Green Mobility roadmap, including a comprehensive assessment of transitioning the current fleet to electric vehicles by 2030, considering feasibility, cost, and business requirements.
- Design and implement best practices and initiatives that support reduced emissions and sustainable mobility, while promoting awareness through educational sessions across JTI USA.
- Ensure effective collaboration and knowledge-sharing with other JTI locations and Headquarters on Green Mobility initiatives and best practices.
Health & Safety
- Develop and drive the Health & Safety strategy for all JTI drivers across the U.S., working closely with fleet management providers and external partners.
- Oversee the timely maintenance of all company vehicles, coordinating closely with drivers and fleet management vendors.
- Develop and implement an annual training plan tailored to different driver groups, ensuring consistent delivery throughout the year.
Reporting
- Manage quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reporting requirements for local and global JTI submissions, including fleet-related data such as mileage, fuel consumption, and accidents.
- Develop the annual strategic plan for Fleet Management, related projects, and budgets, while monitoring expenditures to ensure financial compliance.
- Provide accurate and timely fleet-related data to the Payroll team to support tax reporting requirements related to personal vehicle use.
- Ensure Purchase Requests (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) are accurately created and processed to facilitate timely payments to fleet vendors.
Stakeholder Management
- Coach and support People & Culture team members on fleet-related processes, including employee onboarding and offboarding, ensuring seamless coordination across functions.
- Act as a strategic advisor to Functional Leads across U.S. business units (Market, Leaf, Factory, and Region), helping assess vehicle requirements based on business and employee needs while coordinating with fleet management vendors.
- Partner with Procurement and Finance teams to ensure effective communication, alignment, and execution of fleet-related initiatives and projects
