Position Purpose

he main purpose of this position is to provide IT support for Sales force of the Czech and Slovak markets via communication technologies provided by JTI (e-mail, remote access, phone). 
The role also manages Market IT assets and communication services and serves as a back-up for IT Specialist.

Main Areas of Responsibility

IT Helpdesk for Sales force (CzHuSk cluster)
- Performs daily communication with users via e-mail and phone.
- Analyses problems and drives resolution. 
- Registers respective IT service requests and resolution status.
- Drives improvement of user knowledge base.
- Deploys hardware and software via various tools and technologies used in JTI (imaging, remote access etc.)

 

Sales force power user concept administration and development (Czech and Slovakia)
- Provides documentation and training materials for PUs.
- Performs regular PU trainings.
- Performs ad hoc sales visits to improve quality of IT support.

 

Communications cost control
- Validates and controls the telecommunications costs (voice and data services).
- Manages deductions and cost center cost bookings for telecommunications expenses.

 

IT assets and consumables
- Orders IT assets and distributes to end users or deployment responsibles.
- Manages IT assets database.
- Controls IT assets inventory.
- Manages IT assets repairs and maintenance (warranty checking, etc.).
- Purchases IT consumables and distributes them to end users or deployment responsibles.

 

Local hardware and services management
- Supports administration and development of network hardware installed in CzHuSk cluster local offices: telecommunication hardware and services (phones, PBX)
- Supports user workplaces administration (deployment and support)
- Supports other hardware and services deployment and administration (printers, copymachines, Wi-Fi etc.)

 

IT Trainings
- Supports delivery of internal IT trainings (induction, ad-hoc, regular).
- Contributes to development of IT training materials and documentation.

 

IT Specialist's back-up
- Acts as Helpdesk for office employees
- Performs key day to day IT back-up support for the role of IT Specialist

 

Performs any other tasks given by line manager including participation in functional/cross-functional projects.
