We are currently looking for a suitable candidate for the role of senior Entity Controller to join the company and support our business. This position:

  • is responsible for Free Cash Flow & Liquidity Management preparation, and reporting of results to Entity Finance Manager.
  • manages back office Credit and Treasury Management (insurance, customer analysis, regular reporting etc.) functions, escalates and resolves any issues to Entity Finance Manager.
  • is responsible for Transfer Pricing compliance and preparation of relevant documentation together with corporate group reporting.
  • has expert knowledge in the area of general accounting, so that it can deputize Chief Accountant in case of absence.

The position is suitable for people with 5+ year working experience in finance, preferably in FMCG company.




- manages entity Treasury back-office operations: daily cash management, bank guarantees, operational liquidity and insurances.

- liaises with and provides input for Treasury and Credit front/back office operations in Treasury management and Controls.

- prepares FCF and related analysis for monthly Outlooks / LE / ASP / TDT



- Review customer credit back-office and front-office operations: credit limit usage, aging analysis, due payment controls, credit reporting, BAPs, MEMOs, ITRs etc.

- Supports Entity Finance Manager in dealing with insurance companies / insurance brokers.



- ensures timely and qualitative group reporting within the area of financial accounting and tax.

- prepares JTI Quarterly IFRS and Yearly Tax reporting packs.

- escalates any issues to Entity Finance Manager.



Support Chief Accountant in preparation of FS for audit and CIT returns preparation in cooperation with External Auditors and Tax advisors.

- supports Chief Accountant in the communication with the Financial Authorities and management of potential tax audits.

- prepares inputs for Internal Audit and financial accounting and tax compliance to group policies.



Manages Transfer pricing documentation and compliance in liaison with HQ/Regional Tax teams and external tax advisors, including I/C transactions recoding, establishment of transfer prices, filing of supporting documentation, etc.



Participates in local/global projects and performs any ad hoc Entity related planning and analysis.



  • University degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration - other financial qualification (ACCA, CIMA etc.) would be an asset.
  • At least 5 years of corporate finance, accounting or controlling experience, preferebly in senior roles in an international environment (Big4 or other Audit company, FMCG)
  • Working knowledge of Czech Accounting and IFRS
  • Solid knowledge of Czech Tax legislation (VAT, CIT)
  • Strong analytical and smart problem solving abilities
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office (particularly Excel) and understanding of principles for one of core ERP systems (e.g. SAP).
