Position Purpose:

 

JTI Cambodia is currently seeking for Accounting Manager. The employee will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department; monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements; and establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles.

 

Position Description:

 

  • Managing and overseeing the accounting operations such as obtaining inventor balance from stock manager and recording the inventory movements in ERP system, valuating inventory balance as of month end as well as related taxes to the inventory, reviewing AR aging and ensuring timely manner collection and ensuring timely and accuracy monthly and yearly account closing;
  • Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and producing financial reports and statements;
  • Fully in charge in Audit and Tax Compliance by maintaining adequate knowledge on tax regulations and requirements for JTI business operation and ensuring tax recordkeeping as well as liaising with internal and external auditors and tax authorities, review monthly tax declaration & TOP, preparing tax package for CFO approval; and
  • Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles by guiding other departments to understand accounting policies and principles, applying observations and recommendations to operational issues; and updating any changes in accounting policies and procedures.

 

Desired skills and experience:

 

  • University degree in Finance and Accounting;
  • Minimum 8 years experience in Accounting and at least 3-5 years in Managerial position
  • Experience in working at Multinational and FMCG companies is preferred;
  • Good command of ERP/SAP system or related Finance system;
  • Good understanding of overall tax system in Cambodia.
  • Good understanding of FMCG/retail/trading business are preferred; and
  • Good command of English both writing and speaking, Effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
