As an Insights Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping strategic direction by delivering actionable insights to key stakeholders, including the Strategic Insights Director, ExCom, Marketing, Finance, Taxation teams, and HQ. Your expertise in assimilating consumer sales data, evaluation metrics, consumer research, and market intelligence will be essential in guiding decision-making and driving business performance. Acting as the primary point of contact for Strategic Insights within designated UK categories, you will ensure seamless collaboration and support throughout the planning process. This is a highly visible role that combines analytical depth with cross-functional influence, making it central to the success of our commercial and strategic initiatives.

 

Position

 

As an Insights Manager, you will:

  • Coordinate and integrate Consumer and Commercial Insights to deliver a comprehensive view of assigned categories, acting as the primary point of contact for Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams on both scheduled and ad-hoc requests
  • Support the Forecasting and Reporting Manager by providing category-specific insights and data analysis to inform planning and performance tracking 
  • Deliver strategic direction to Sales, Marketing, and Senior Management through in-depth market analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning—covering market conditions, category trends, trade sectors, brand performance, and competitor activity 
  • Analyse in-market activities and strategic plans across multiple channels and accounts, presenting insights and recommendations to the Marketing team to guide brand strategy and campaign development 
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Engine SI Manager to develop and deliver performance reports and trackers aligned with the Commercial Engine framework, supporting KPI-based decision-making for Category and Brand teams 
  • Support the Strategic Insights Director in an agile working environment, contributing to reporting, Power BI dashboard creation, and execution of ad hoc projects as needed 

 

Requirement

 

  • University degree preferred, but not essential
  • A minimum of 5 years of commercial analytical and/or statistical experience in a comparable role within FMCG is required, along with substantial experience in Marketing and/or Sales 
  • Strong analytical skills are essential, alongside proficiency in problem-solving, pricing scenarios, and delivering business insights
  • Very strong communication skills  
  • Assertiveness, with an excellent teamwork attitude 
  • Fluent English speaker and writer

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £54.000- 57.000 per annum, dependent on experience and a car allowance of £7,611 per annum.
