Demand Planning Specialist (Agile) HU

What this position is about - Purpose: As a Demand Planning Specialist (Agile), you will be responsible for managing demand, production, and inventory planning for the Hungarian market, in line with the company’s strategic objectives. Your key focus will be ensuring optimal product availability while effectively managing inventory levels and mitigating NTM and finished goods write-off exposure.

What will you do - Responsibilities:

• Work in close collaboration with local Marketing, Sales, and FP&A teams, as well as Global Supply Chain functions (Customer Service, Demand & Supply Chain Planning, factory Export departments) and GBS New Product Development.
• Ensure optimal product availability at the JTI warehouse level in line with business strategy.
• Manage demand and inventory planning for the assigned market within the CZ/HU/SK cluster using JTI planning tools and ongoing communication with key stakeholders.
• Monitor NTM stock levels at sourcing factories to meet production demand at the right time and in the right quantities, while minimizing write-off risks.
• Manage and monitor the NTM write-off budget and approve purchasing orders for NTMs from the market perspective.
• Provide inputs for tax stamp ordering and support tax stamp management activities.
• Ensure SRA registration processes for new products or product changes.
• Prepare relevant reports as required or upon request from the line manager.

Who are we looking for - Requirements:

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Logistics, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or a similar role
• Native Czech or Slovak, fluent in English; knowledge of Hungarian is an advantage.
• Strong user-level computer skills (MS Office - Excel; SAP is an advantage)
• Excellent communication and cooperation skills
• Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• A proactive, open-minded team player with a positive attitude
