RRP BRAND MANAGER
Position purpose:
The RRP Brand Manager will work in close collaboration with the RRP Marketing Lead and Brand managers, developing and executing bold marketing initiatives in line with the brand strategy in the assigned market.
The incumbent must be ambitious, have a strong growth mindset, identifying potential growth opportunities, proposing relevant, adapted and timely recommendations to the RRP Marketing Lead, specifically in the RRP category.
The RRP Brand Manager will also be a part of the newly created C1ST team structure, requiring a multi-category mindset ensuring alignment and collaboration with Sales and Combustibles teams, driving and monitoring regional performance in the market.
What will you do – responsibilities:
- Define, support and adapt programs to changing business and consumer dynamics while complying with JTI guidelines, internal processes, and legal requirements for Portugal.
- Manage assigned projects to ensure budget-compliant execution of initiatives based on marketing briefs, define KPIs for each project to guarantee high-quality, cost-effective, and timely delivery.
- Work in close collaboration with all relevant internal departments and especially with Sales teams, to incorporate commercial acumen into marketing initiatives regionally, with a multi-category approach.
- Coordinate, supervise and manage projects and tasks assigned, understanding how to cope with uncertainty and being able to quickly adjust the programs to the new circumstances.
- Monitor industry and brand performance, understanding market trends, competition developments and consumer dynamics, embracing a multi-category mindset.
- In close collaboration with the relevant internal stakeholders and external providers, monitor the KPIs assigned to each program and initiative, building a comprehensive analysis and evaluation of all tools in place and proposing recommendations for future implementations.
- Manage and supervise the allocated budget to the activities and projects assigned, ensuring maximum ROI, and minimizing unjustified deviations from the plan.
Who are we looking for – requirements:
- Bachelor degree (Business administration, Marketing or similar)
- +5 years relevant experience in Marketing or Trade Marketing in FMCG, Consumer Electronics or Distribution/Retail multinational companies. Tobacco and RRP experience (desirable)
- Background in marketing (Brand portfolio management, pricing, trade/consumer understanding, channel strategy, creativity and financial knowledge)
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills and strategic view
- Fluency in English and local language
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
